Duration
The master's program lasts four semesters on a full-time basis and can be extended to six semesters without formal application.
A request to extend the duration of study can be submitted to the study committee if there are significant reasons (health, childcare, completion of the master's thesis, employment, etc.).
Part-time Study
Many students successfully combine work and study. The study coordination office offers advice on designing a suitable part-time schedule before and during your studies.
We recommend that full-time students do not plan to work more than 40% of the time, and part-time students do not plan to work more than 60% of the time over 3 years.
Attendance
The program requires attendance 3 days a week, 3.5 days in the first semester. Industry visits and practical laboratory visits may take place outside of the normal schedule.
