The AMNIUS project aims to develop a revolutionary, miniaturised, and multifunctional ultrasonic surgical instrument tailored for tissue-adaptive cutting in robot-assisted surgery using additively manufactured elements made of the phase-transforming shape memory alloy nitinol to adjust resonance characteristics.
