Precision Engineering and Translational Medicine

The School of Biomedical and Precision Engineering (SBPE) include state of the art research activities focussing on the development of new medical technologies.

Research activities are conducted within three research groups: Personalised Medicine Research, Smart Surgical Instruments and Medical Devices, and Ultrasonics in Medicine and Engineering.

The SBPE supports Doctoral and Master study programs of the University of Bern and offers opportunities for candiates to undertake research projects within its highly innovative and collaberative environment.
