Precision Engineering and Translational Medicine

The School of Biomedical and Precision Engineering (SBPE) include state of the art research activities focusing on the development of new medical and precision technologies.

Research activities are conducted within two research groups: Smart Surgical Instruments and Medical Devices, Ultrasonics in Medicine and Engineering and Advanced Samples Processing for Precision Medicine.

The SBPE supports Doctoral and Master study programs of the University of Bern and offers opportunities for candiates to undertake research projects within its highly innovative and collaberative environment.
