Verein Deutscher Ingenieure

The VDI partners with the University of Bern and the MSc Precision  Engineering.

The Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V. (VDI) is the largest technical and scientific association with currently approx. 135,000 members in Germany and worldwide.

Prof. Dr. Harald Ludanek (left) holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and was responsible for overall vehicle development and prototype construction at Volkswagen and at Scania, Sweden, as head of development for the development of the new truck generation.

Dr. Thomas Sahner (right) holds a doctorate in Industrial Engineering and is Senior Staff at the CERN, nearby Geneva and a member of the ISO technical committee T261 for additive manufacturing.
