Robot-Assisted Surgical Test Platform for the Development and Validation of Ultrasonic Osteotomy Tools
Today, Auto-Mate Robotics, a spin-off from the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH, gave an introductory lecture of their robotic control system to our students.
Their user-friendly design makes adapting robot applications as easy as operating a smartphone and is ideal for our Creative Engineering Lab.
The students will use the Auto-Mate system to develop a robot-assisted surgical test platform for evaluating ultrasonic osteotomy tools in collaboration with experts from Auto-Mate Robotics located at the BFH in Biel and BoSonic AG located at sitem-insel in Bern.
