Get Together of the Precision Engineering Lecturers
For the first time, the lecturers of the Master of Science in Precision Engineering were invited to get together and visit the new building, at the time under construction.
The meeting began at the new building, where Roland Blaser, architect, and Andreas Bayer, plant engineer, from the University of Bern introduced the development and the floor plan.
During the subsequent tour, Sandra Zwyssig, responsible for setting up the CE Lab, and Jürgen Burger, Head of Studies, took over the presentation of the laboratories. With vivid explanations, the still empty rooms in the presentation were already filled in the imagination of all participants with the planned equipment.
Afterward, everyone returned to the sitem-insel for a short introduction about the origins of the study program and the core team, until the opportunity for personal exchange was actively used at the aperitif.
We were pleased about the large attendance and look forward to a successful collaboration with the start of Precision Engineering in autumn 2022!
